Disney World has had a rough few weeks, with two separate Skyliner crash incidents and a power outage at Animal Kingdom that shut down several rides temporarily.
Now it seems like the misfortunes are continuing because we have another massive closure, and today, it has affected nearly every ride at Animal Kingdom!
We’re not yet sure was has caused the issue, but currently, all but two of the rides at Animal Kingdom are temporarily closed. According to reporter Scott Gustin, it looks like a power outage could be behind the closures.

TriceraTop Spin and Avatar Flight of Passage are both up and running, but wait times are particularly high for both rides — 20 minutes and 150 minutes respectively.
Besides those rides, DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest, It’s Tough to be a Bug, Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Na’vi River Journey are all down.
UPDATE: As of 1:30PM, all the rides that were previously closed have since reopened, according to the My Disney Experience app. We’ll let you know if there are any additional updates.
During the power outage a few days ago, the closed rides slowly reopened over the course of a few hours. Gift shops and some dining locations were also temporarily closed during the issue. Things were back to normal by the end of the day.
We’ll keep an eye on the situation to see if anything changes, and we’ll be looking out for more details. Stay tuned to AllEars!
