What to Eat at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

One of the most beautiful resorts in Disney World is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, which is modeled after a lodge (circa the 1900s) at Yellowstone National Park.

But Wilderness Lodge is way more than just a pretty place to visit — it’s also home to some great places to eat. We’re going to tell you about some of the best food you can get here.

Artist Point

Okay, so we’re just going to say that the Storybook Dining With Snow White at Artist Point is a MUST for foodies, and we wouldn’t say that about many character dining experiences. Here, though, the food is elevated beyond the usual buffet offerings you get at most character dining restaurants.

The menu is prix fixe, and if you’re choosing a main entree, we’ll highly recommend the Royal Prime Rib Roast over and over.

Whispering Canyon Cafe

Not only is Whispering Canyon Cafe one of the most FUN restaurants in Disney World (here, the servers are always up to shenanigans — always ask for ketchup), but it also has some great food. You’ll get all-you-can-eat skillets of food here, guaranteeing you’ll never go hungry again.

If you’re eating here for lunch or dinner, the ‘Burnt Ends’ Nachos make a great appetizer for sharing (if you want to).

We also love the breakfast skillets because the biscuits are some of the best you’ll find in Disney World.

Roaring Fork

Roaring Fork is the counter-service restaurant here, but we’re going to sing the praises of any restaurant that offers Mickey Waffles for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can get some pretty decent BBQ.

We often go here for the snacks, like the Campfire Cupcake, which is a chocolate cupcake with chocolate rocks, buttercream, and marshmallow.

Other sweet treats include a Bear Mousse Cake, a Walnut-Bacon Bundt Cake, and a Blueberry-Thyme Crumb Pie. You’ll also find some great seasonal snacks here.

Territory Lounge

Sure, Territory Lounge is a great place to relax and knock back a few drinks, but the food here is also solid pub grub fare. We will always sing the praises of both the Loaded Baked Potato Flatbread and the Salmon Run Flatbread.

We are also always down for a good Charcuterie Board and the one here is excellent.

Geyser Point Bar & Grill

Geyser Point may be one of our favorite hidden secrets in Disney World. One of the best Disney World burgers is here, after all — the Bison Cheeseburger, served with bacon, sweet crispy onion straws, marionberry sauce, and garlic aïoli.

However, you also can’t go wrong Cheesy Barbecue Brisket, which is served with house-made chips.
