What the CROWDS Look Like at the First Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Disney World

It’s finally happening! We’re LIVE at the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party since 2019!!!

Party Map

We’ve been counting down the days until we could take in all the party festivities, including seeing all the characters, eating ALL the food, checking out all the entertainment, and more. However, we wanted to give you a heads up about something you might not be planning for at the party — crowds!

Since this is the first Christmas Party in 3 years, we expected to see some crowds, especially because tickets are sold out for the party tonight. And, we were right! You can get into the park starting at 4PM for the party if you have a ticket, and this is what the entrance looked like at that time.

WOW

It’s been raining, and that clearly did not deter the crowds!

The rain isn’t keeping anyone away

It was pretty packed!

So, if you want to get into the park as soon as you can during your party day, we suggest arriving early, like at 3:15-3:30PM at the very least.

You don’t want to be waiting in this line!

Once inside, the crowds weren’t as bad on Main Street, U.S.A., and there were Cast Members helping direct people to where they needed to be.

There are spots in the park where you can check in and get your party wristband, and the line was pretty long!

Inside The Emporium, it was PACKED!

AH

Everyone seemed to be wanting to grab some merch.

Yikes!

Once it got dark, there were still a decent amount of people out and about. As a reminder, the park closes at 6PM for regular guests who don’t have a ticket to the party.

Here’s what it looked like in front of Cinderella Castle before the party began.

Then, we saw some people hanging out around where Cast Members had Main Street blocked off.

Once the party started, Main Street was way less crowded.

Over in Fantasyland, it wasn’t too crowded once the party started.

The rain might have something to do with the low crowds over here!

Over back in front of Cinderella Castle, it was packed with people waiting for the stage show.

WOW!

Seriously, so many people were waiting.

Yikes

The crowds still weren’t terrible on Main Street, though.

The party has started!

But, it did get busy again for the parade.

Oof!

We’ll keep you updated with what crowds look like throughout the night!

So that’s what crowds look like at the party, so now you’re prepared for any parties you may be attending. We expect that some parties will be more crowded than others (particularly on those days when party tickets have sold out).
