Disney World Releases Hours for Thanksgiving and Into Mid December 2022

If you’re headed to Disney World, there are certain things you NEED to know before your trip.

You need to make sure your park pass reservations are booked well ahead of time, before dates start to sell out. You also want to make sure you get those advance dining reservations booked as soon as possible. Finally, you’ll need to make sure you know the park hours — those can change a lot and you’ll want to make sure you’re going to the parks that’ll give you the most bang for your buck each day.

Right now, park hours are available for Disney World’s parks through mid December. But we’ll start by giving you a look at October, starting with the first of the month.

Magic Kingdom

October

On October 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 9th, 12th, and 15th, Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 11PM. On October 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 13th, and 14th, Magic Kingdom is open from 8AM to 6PM — Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is offered on those days so beware of those earlier closures.

Extended evening hours are on October 5th and 12th from 11PM to 1AM.

On October 17th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, and 29th, Magic Kingdom’s hours are from 9AM-11PM. On October 16th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, and 28th, Magic Kingdom is open from 8AM-6PM — Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is offered on those nights, as well. The hours are slightly different on the 30th and 31st — 9AM to 6PM — and Not-So-Scary parties are offered on those nights too.

Extended evening hours are on October 19th and 26th from 11PM-1AM.

November

In November, Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM-10PM on November 1st-3rd, and is open 9AM-11PM on November 4th-7th, 9th, and 12th. The park is open from 8AM-6PM on November 8th, 10th, and 11th. On those nights, the park will close early for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Extended evening hours are on November 2nd from 10PM-Midnight and November 9th from 11PM-1AM.

On November 13th, 16th, 19th, 21st, 23rd-26th, Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM-11PM. On November 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th, and 22nd, Magic Kingdom is open from 8AM-6PM — again, the early closure is due to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Extended evening hours are on November 16th and 23rd from 11PM-1AM.

On November 28th and 30th, the park is open from 9AM-11PM and the park is open from 8AM-6PM on November 27th and 29th (closing early for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party). Extended evening hours are on November 30th from 11PM-1AM.

December

On December 1st and 2nd, Magic Kingdom is open from 8AM-6PM and on December 4th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th, and 16th, Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM-6PM (closing early for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party). On December 3rd, the park will be open from 9AM-11PM and on December 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th, and 17th, Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM-10PM.

Extended evening hours are on December 7th and 14th from 10PM-Midnight.

The park hours are 9AM-6PM on December 18th, 20th, and 22nd to close early for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. On December 19th, 21st, 23rd-29th, Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM-10PM and on December 30th and 31st, the park is open from 9AM-Midnight.

EPCOT

October

In EPCOT, park hours are from 8:30AM-9PM from October 1st-15th. Extended evening hours are on October 3rd and 10th from 9PM-11PM.

For most of the rest of the month, from October 16th-29th, EPCOT hours are the same, from 8:30AM to 9PM. Extended evening hours are on October 17th, 24th, and 31st from 9PM-11PM.

Hours have been extended on October 30th and 31st to 8:30AM-9PM.

November

From November 1st-5th and November 7th-19th, the park is open from 8:30AM-9PM. On November 6th, EPCOT will be open on 9AM-9PM. Extended Evening Hours are available on November 7th and 14th from 9PM-11PM.

From November 20th-24th, EPCOT’s hours are the same, from 8:30AM-9PM. Hours change slightly from November 25th through the 30th. On those dates, the park will be open from 9AM to 9:30PM.

Extended evening hours are on November 21st from 9PM-11PM and November 28th from 9:30PM-11:30PM.

December

On December 1st-17th, EPCOT is open from 9AM-9:30PM Extended evening hours are on December 5th and 12th from 9:30PM-11:30PM.

EPCOT is open from 9AM-9:30PM on December 18th-30th. On December 31st, the park hours are 9AM-12AM.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

October

Hollywood Studios is open from 8:30AM-9PM throughout most of the month of October.

On October 30th and 31st, the hours used to be 9AM to 9PM, but they have been extended to 8:30AM to 9PM.

November

For the month of November, Hollywood Studios is open from 8:30AM-9PM.

December

The hours remain at 8:30AM-9PM for Hollywood Studios from December 1st-17th.

From December 18th to 30th, the hours are 8:30AM-9PM, but on December 31st, the park is open from 8:30AM-12AM.

Extended Evening Hours are available for the park on December 15th and 22nd from 9AM-11PM.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

October

On October 23rd, 29th, and 30th, the park is open from 8AM-8PM. Animal Kingdom is open from 8AM-7PM on October 24th and 28th and the park is open from 9AM-7PM on October 25th, 26th, 27th, and 31st.

November

In November, Animal Kingdom’s hours are from 9AM-7PM on November 1st-3rd, 15th, and 16th. The park is open from 8AM-7PM on November 4th, 7th-10th, 17th, and 18th and from 8AM-8PM on November 5th, 6th, 11th-14th, and 19th.

The 8AM-8PM hours continue through November 20th-26th. The hours change to 8AM-7PM on November 27th and 28th, and then change again to 9AM-7PM on November 29th and 30th.

December

On December 1st and 2nd, Animal Kingdom will be open from 8AM-7PM and on December 3rd, you can visit the park from 8AM-8PM. From December 4th-17th, the park is open from 9AM-7PM.

The 9AM-7PM hours continue from December 18th-24th and then change to 8AM-8PM from December 25th-31st.

Typhoon Lagoon

October

Through October, Typhoon Lagoon will be open from 10AM-5PM.

November

The same hours (10AM-5PM) continue from November 1st through 12th.
