PHOTOS: Room Tour at the NEWEST Hotel in Disney World

Although many Disney World guests prefer to stay in Disney-owned hotels, there are other options near the resort.

Swan Reserve

One of those options is the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, which enjoys many of the same benefits as Disney-owned hotels. However, now that the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is open, guests have yet ANOTHER hotel to choose from. So we stayed in a room there to give you an idea of what to expect.

Resort Atmosphere

The Swan Reserve has 349 guest rooms, 149 suites, and 2 presidential suites. Its style is elegant and sleek with a beach-themed atmosphere. The color tones inside are warm with lots of ivories, browns, and blues.

Lobby

The resort is located within walking distance or a water taxi ride of both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That means it’s also near the other EPCOT resorts, so guests have access to additional shopping and dining.

Guests also have access to Disney World Resort perks like  Early Theme Park Hours and Extended Evening Hours.

You’ll also find the fine dining restaurant, Amare, here.

Room Tour

Let’s take a walk down the hallway to find our room.

Let’s go to our room!

We stayed in a Traditional Room w/ Standard View and a King Bed . Here’s what it looks like as soon as you step through the door. A narrow hallway leads into the room. To the left of this hallway is the door that leads to the bathroom (we’ll get to that in a bit) and the closet.

Hallway

On the right is a full-length mirror.

The closet has two double doors.

You’ll find a pop of color inside — it’s orange! There are hangers here, too.

Inside, you’ll find robes

The closet’s top shelf has extra blankets and a pillow

The room itself features a King-sized bed.

Beside the bed, you’ll find a side table

The bed itself has four pillows (you can never have too many pillows!).

Above the bed was some summer-themed Artwork. Ours featured people in a swimming pool.

Each side of the bed has its own light.

On the far side of the bed is another side table.

On top of that table is a remote control and really cool clock with USB ports.

The table also has a drawer that pulls out.

Beside that table is a seating area

There’s a footstool and small table in front of the loveseat.

You’ll find the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the sofa. There are heavy curtains with a privacy curtain underneath.

Both sets of curtains can be pulled back to get a full view.

Our view included the resort’s pool and Hollywood Studios — see the Tower of Terror in the distance?

What a view!

Across from that is a desk and chair.

There’s a lamp on the desk.

The desk also has a QR code placard that can be scanned for more information about the resort.

There are USB ports and outlets on the side of the dresser.

A drawer also pulls out from the side of the dresser where you’ll find an ice bucket and glasses.
