PRICES and DATES Revealed for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Disney World

Last year, the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event replaced the usual holiday party in Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Although Very Merriest still featured some of the same entertainment guests experienced at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, it was pretty pricey for less time at the park. This year Very Merry is BACK, and here’s what you can expect for pricing and dates!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will return to Magic Kingdom on 24 dates between November 8th and December 22nd. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on July 7th, 2022, but guests of some Disney World hotels can begin purchasing tickets on June 30th, 2022.

Ticket prices will range from $149 to $199 per person, depending on the date. Typically, the ticket prices are more expensive on dates closer to Christmas, and the event dates are as follows:

  • November: 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 27, 29
  • December: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22

If we take a look at November ticket prices, adult tickets range from $149 to $179, while kids (ages 3 to 9) ticket prices vary between $139 to $169.

In contrast, the Very Merriest After Hours Event tickets ranged in price from $169 to $229, so it seems like the tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry will be slightly less expensive!

We know him!

So far, Disney has announced that several entertainment favorites will be back for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, including Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.

Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa will also be back, and guests can also participate in North Pole dance parties, the Disney Junior Jingle Jam, and “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas” stage show.

And you can’t forget about the holiday overlays for several rides in Magic Kingdom, including the Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, and the Mad Tea Party. Other than the Jungle Cruise, the other holiday overlays will be exclusive to the party!

  1. The biggest issue I have is that if you don’t want to pay the extra (about $1000 for our party) and don’t want to be in MK at the weekend, Wednesdays are the only days available which means MK will be super busy then too. Looks like we won’t be spending an evening in MK in our November trip:(

    1. Hi Andreah! Disney hasn’t given a specific time, but the Halloween party tickets went on sale at midnight.

  2. No, I do not plan to attend the “Very merry Christmas Party”. I will be in Disney in November, but I will avoid these dates at the Magic Kingdom. I attended one of these several years back and found they are way too expensive for what you get and way too crowded.

  3. Absolutely! My husband and I are both in our 70’s. We have always wanted to see Disney at Christmas and finally we are going. I have been planning this trip for almost two years. Can’t wait. Thanks for all the great tips for saving time and money!
