FIRST LOOK and NEW Details on the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Merchandise Collections

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is just a few weeks from finally launching into action!

We know what the ride vehicles look like, what the Cast Member costumes are, and what the ride’s story entails. And now, we have a look at the merchandise coming for the ride!

Disney has shared more information on the collections of merchandise that will be available at the Treasures of Xandar gift shop for the ride.

EPCOT guests can search for cosmic apparel, accessories, toys, home décor and more when they visit the Treasures of Xandar shop – operated by The Broker – at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (Kent Phillips, photographer)

Inside the shop, you’ll be able to find the following collections, according to Disney:

The Hereos of Xandar: This collection is inspired by vintage 1980s concert merchandise, themed for the Guardians of the Galaxy’s fictional intergalactic tour.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Through the Eyes of Quill Collection: This collection will continue continue bringing some retro flair, with 80s-inspired silhouettes and graphics.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – Honorary Guardians Collection: Just as it sounds — this collection is showing you off as an honorary Guardian of the Galaxy! With navy blue and gold embellishments, each item features an honorary Guardians emblem.
Groot Through the Years Collection: This collection features toys,
home décor, and kids clothing, all celebrating Groot from his baby years, through adolescence, and adulthood.

In a new glimpse at what will be offered, Disney shared photos of a blue and navy baseball hat from the Honorary Guardians Collection…

…along with a mug from the Groot Through the Years Collection.

Additionally, in a video shared to the Disney Parks Instagram, Disney gave an even closer look at some of the merchandise we can expect from the new ride gift shop!

From retro-inspired apparel to a cassette-shaped crossbody, the new collection of merchandise knows its theme and sticks TO it! The colors and style are all perfectly 80s in the most nostalgic way possible, and we’d expect nothing less from a Guardians-inspired collection.
