Florida weather is notoriously unpredictable and can get pretty severe, so while you might make every effort to pack for your trip to the sunshine state, you never know exactly what you’re going to get.
We’ve seen flash floods, severe thunderstorms, and even hurricanes impact Disney World and, we’ve got an update on the severe weather predicted for the area this weekend.
Currently, a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 7PM today, Saturday, April 2nd in Orange County and Osceola County, Florida, where Disney World is located.

News 6 reports that there could be damaging wind, large hail, or torrential rain in the area tonight. If you’re at the parks today, make sure you’re prepared for some potentially severe weather, and be sure to follow instructions from Cast Members if storms are approaching.
The Orlando International Airport has also issued a statement regarding the weather, saying that the weather could cause flight or baggage delivery delays, and to contact your airline directly for updates.
