It’s Spring Break season in Disney World and that means crowds are pretty much inevitable!
Each year, Disney World tends to see heavy crowds during March and April as guests take their trips for Spring Break season. And that can mean more congestion and longer wait times for attractions. But while busy parks are pretty much unavoidable, we do have SOME good news about what we experienced this weekend!
Okay, so let’s start with the inevitable — yes, there were lots of crowds in Disney World this weekend.
Of course, the busy parks meant longer lines for many attractions…
…and more congestion in several places throughout the day.
If you were hoping to get a picture of one of the landmarks in the parks without other guests in the shot, your chances of that this weekend weren’t great.
As is often the case, a lot of the crowds were concentrated at pinch points and outside of popular attractions, like this large crowd that formed outside of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad on Saturday afternoon.
But even though crowds were a common theme this weekend, there were a few moments where we came across some places that were way less congested. Just look at all of the (relatively) empty space we had to ourselves in Animal Kingdom on Saturday morning!
If you plan to visit during Spring Break, you’ll probably have to deal with your fair share of crowds. But it’s good to know that there are still some more secluded places you can find to decompress if you feel like you need a bit of space!
