ANOTHER Disney World Hotel Spot is Closed for Refurbishment

Right now, we’re seeing a lot of things in Disney World close temporarily for refurbishment.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

We just got Big Thunder Mountain Railroad back from a quick refurbishment, but we’re still missing popular attractions like Expedition Everest, and Splash Mountain had a couple of hiccups in its reopening. Something else at Disney World just closed for refurbishment, so let’s check it out.

The Copper Creek Springs Pool Play Area at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be temporarily closed through early March for refurbishment. The rest of the pools will still be open.

Copper Creek Springs Pool

Wilderness Lodge has two pool areas, Copper Creek Springs Pool, which has a 67 foot water slide and hot and cold whirlpool spas, and Boulder Ridge Cove Pool, which has whirlpool spas and a zero-depth entry pool. Both of these pools will stay open, the only thing closing is the play area in Copper Creek.
