Nowadays, it takes a lot of planning to travel to Disney World! Guests must book park pass reservations, plan out their dining options, and figure out how they are going to get to their Disney World hotel from the airport! But after all that work, the view is worth it, we promise.
If you’re still in the planning stage of your next Disney World vacation, there’s another Magical Express replacement transportation option you might want to consider!
Currently, there are several ways to get to and from the Orlando International Airport if you’re staying in a Disney World hotel. For example, there’s the new Mears Connect service, which is very similar to Disney’s old Magical Express service.
The prices range depending on your service preferences, but a standard, Round Trip costs $32 per adult and $27 per child. Additionally, there is a similar transportation option called The Sunshine Flyer, which launched in February 2022.
But some people may prefer to bundle all their added costs together into one total cost. This is where Disney comes in!
As another option to consider, guests booking vacation packages with Disney can book round trip, private, direct Disney transportation to and from the airport as a vacation package add-on.
Disney offers multiple transportation options that range in price, including vans, sedans, SUVs, and limos. This service is only available for guests booking a vacation package with theme park tickets included.
The transportation prices are listed for a round trip service. Gratuity is not included. For a stretch limousine service, which holds up to six passengers and 5 medium-sized suitcases, the add-on price is $394.36. The sedan service, which holds up to three passengers and 3 medium-sized suitcases, costs $201.26, while the SUV service (made for up to five passengers/5 suitcases) is $250.38.
Disney also offers two other options for larger parties, including an executive limo service for up to eleven passengers and eleven suitcases for $318.38, or an executive van service for up to ten passengers and ten suitcases for $354.94.
If interested, you can contact the Disney Reservation Center found on the Disney World website. Disney’s add-on service will also be available for nearby airports, including the Tampa International Airport and several others!
You can contact a Cast Member through the Disney Reservation Center if you’re interested in booking this add-on service. Keep in mind that you have several options when deciding how to get to and from the Orlando Airport, so be sure to do your research to see what works best for your family!
