We Couldn’t BELIEVE What the EPCOT’s World Showcase Looked Like This Morning!

Have you ever heard the phrase, “EVERY season is the busy season in Disney World these days!“? Well, that is true…sometimes. We’ll let you in on a little secret: the crowd level in Disney World changes all the time, so it’s impossible to make a blanket statement about the crowds in Disney at any given moment!

That said, there are ways to measure and predict park attendance, so we still recommend doing your research ahead of time! You might think that EPCOT would be pretty crowded on a holiday weekend, especially the day after New Year’s Day! But our trip around the world at EPCOT this morning left us pretty surprised.

We headed to Mexico first and didn’t see very many people around! The area outside of the Mexico pavilion can get pretty congested, so this was a rare and surprising sight! 

Could this be a fluke? There’s only one way to find out. On to Norway!

There weren’t any huge crowds of people in Norway, either! Although waking up early isn’t ideal, you’ll likely be rewarded with low crowds and short wait times if you hit the parks in the morning.

Over in Germany, there was no wait to say hello to Snow White! The crowds are still nowhere to be seen on this cloudy morning.

How often do you see a section of the World Showcase that is completely empty?!

By now you probably get the point: the World Showcase was NOT very busy! Later in the day, we started to see some more people arrive, so keep in mind that the crowd level can (and WILL) fluctuate throughout the day no matter how empty the park may seem in the morning!
