3 Spots That Will Be CLOSED in Disney World Next Week

Throughout the year, Disney World will close down certain attractions to do maintenance or complete routine touch-ups. And, when you’re planning a vacation, it can be helpful to know about these.

That’s why, here at AllEars, we keep you updated on all the upcoming closures. And, today we’re taking a look at everything that will be CLOSED in the parks from November 22nd to 28th, 2021 — let’s get to it!

Magic Kingdom Refurbishments

Walt Disney World Railroad

It’s been over two years since guests could take a loop around Magic Kingdom on the Walt Disney World Railroad and the attraction is set to be closed for another week.

Main Street Railroad Station

A portion of the track is currently being blocked by construction at the upcoming roller coaster, TRON: Lightcycle Run and Disney’s calendar has the closure lasting through at least early 2022 currently.

Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade

And, another Magic Kingdom attraction will join the refurbishment list this week as Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade closes beginning November 27th, 2021.

Guests won’t be able to play the free shootin’ game through December 21st, after which it will reopen.

UPDATE — This scheduled refurbishment has been canceled and Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade is now reopened in Magic Kingdom.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Refurbishments

Kali River Rapids

In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the water ride, Kali River Rapids, will continue it’s month and a half long closure. Currently, Disney is projecting that the refurbishments will be completed sometime in mid-December, but we’ll keep you updated on when an official reopening date is announced.
