2 Popular Disney World Attractions Will Be CLOSED Next Week!

Are you heading to Disney World this week? There are some attraction closures that you might want to be aware of before you make your park plans!

From time to time, Disney closes certain attractions to complete routine touch-ups or maintenance and it can be helpful to know what that schedule is ahead of time. And, while Disney recently wrapped up its refurbishment at Mickey’s PhilharMagic, there are a few other continuing closures to keep in mind. So, let’s look at everything scheduled to be CLOSED between November 15th to 21st, 2021!

Magic Kingdom Refurbishments

Walt Disney World Railroad

The Walt Disney World Railroad is known as one of the most iconic Magic Kingdom attractions, taking guests on a full circle around the theme park hitting up Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland along the way. But, the train has not been available for well over 2 years now due to a portion of the construction at TRON Lightcycle Run that is blocking its path.

A reopening date has yet to be announced by Disney and it is currently scheduled to be closed through at least early 2022.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Refurbishments

Kali River Rapids

And, over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids will also be closed for another week as the water ride undergoes routine maintenance. The water ride known to soak its guests from head to toe will be unavailable through mid-December but we’ll be sure to share an official reopening date once it’s announced.
