Happy Holidays from Universal Studios! There’s a bunch of holiday entertainment coming to Universal Orlando, but one of the highlights is Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s!

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’sIn this parade, you’ll see live entertainment and giant balloon floats featuring Illumination characters like the Minions and classic holiday figures. Today, we’re giving you all a look at this year’s parade!

The parade features Macy’s and we saw this gorgeous snowflake float to kick off the parade!

The gang from Shrek decided to drop in for the parade, including Donkey…

It’s Donkey!

…Shrek and Fiona (plus a few other of their friends like Dragon and Pinocchio)…

…Puss ‘n Boots…

…The Big Bad Wolf…

…the Three Blind Mice…

…and the Gingerbread Man.

Next up was the gang from Madagascar. But first, a gigantic Pineapple Balloon.

Then King Julian waved to guests from his float.

The pilot of this balloon looks suspiciously like a penguin.

Most of the rest of the Madagascar gang showed up on a float.

But those penguins are at it again.

Next up is the Minions float.

There’s also a Minions balloon…

…and Minions dancers.

This Teddy Bear balloon is massive.

Those minions are always up to no good.

The performers in the parade had some very cool costumes.

There was also a gigantic Nutcracker balloon.

Nothing gets a holiday party (or in this case, holiday parade) started like a festive Choo Choo train float. There’s a doll hanging on a swing from the balloon floating behind it.
