Ever since Disney announced the EPCOT Transformation in 2019, we’ve been keeping a close eye on all of the projects.

The first major update is set to debut in October with the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris in the France Pavilion, and it turns out the next big project will open shortly before!
In August, Disney shared that the new space-themed restaurant would open sometime in mid-September, and now we know that Space 220 will officially welcome guests for the first time on September 20th!

When guests first arrive at the restaurant (which is located next to Mission: SPACE in Future World), they’ll step inside Disney’s first-ever “space elevator” and watch EPCOT shrink away as they approach their dinner destination — the Centauri Space Station.

And, 220 miles away from Earth, guests will be treated to a gourmet meal with panoramic views. The menu will include dishes from Executive Chef Marc Kusche and feature a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner. Plus, the food will be presented in an “out of this world” fashion and the restaurant will even include a “wheel” of produce.

AND, there will even be a lounge for guests who just want to come up to space for a cocktail or two without a reservation!

Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates and bring along for a first look inside when it opens, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
