After months, actually YEARS, of waiting, Space 220 is finally set to open!
This new restaurant is located in EPCOT, right next door to the Mission: SPACE ride, and it’ll begin serving guests in mid-September, though an exact date has not been announced. But today, we got our first look inside the new dining location and we’re getting more and more excited!
Space 220 will take guests up in a “space elevator” to dine seemingly 220 miles above the Earth’s surface. When you’re seated inside the restaurant, you’ll have a panoramic view of space thanks to spectacularly Imagineered windows.
Imagineer Zach Riddley shared a first look inside the space in a video today, and we have to say…it looks very impressive! Check out the video below:
We’ll make sure to keep you updated when we get an official opening date, so stay tuned to AllEars! And whichever day it is, we’ll be there to share our experience and try out all the food!
