After many months of being suspended, Disney Cruise Line is up and running again.

The Disney Dream set sail at the beginning of August, resuming voyages from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas. There have been new health and safety precautions put in place to help protect passengers, but now, the CDC has released a new travel advisory that affects these sailings.
The CDC is now recommending that all Americans avoid travel to the Bahamas, if at all possible. They have shared that if you must travel to the Bahamas, that you should make sure you are fully vaccinated first.

The Bahamas is now classified as an area of the world where there is a “very high” level of COVID-19, so even those who are fully vaccinated may be at risk. The CDC recommends as well that travelers in the Bahamas follow recommendations and requirements, including wearing a mask and remaining 6 feet apart from others.

We were just talking about taking a Disney cruise and considered staying on board on the Nassau day. Now, if we do cruise, we will definitely stay on board.
That won’t do you much good since everyone else will be getting off and bringing back whatever they come in contact with to the ship. It’s a no win really.
