Holiday Parades Will Be RETURNING to Disney World!

Over the past few months we’ve started seeing many things return to Disney World,.

Things are slowly getting back to normal at Disney World

We’ve already seen fireworks return, and we’re even getting brand new nighttime shows at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT soon. And although we’ve enjoyed the character cavalcades, we still haven’t seen any parades since before the parks closed last year.

But that’s about to change because Disney announced today that a holiday parade is returning to Disney World. The newest after hours event, Disney Very Merriest After Hours, will debut on November 8th and run on select nights through December 21st. And the event will feature a full parade!

Guests attending the 4-hour event will get to see a special holiday-themed parade, “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade”, which will sound familiar to anyone who has attended Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in the past! Mickey and Minnie will be joined by characters from Frozen, as well as other Disney characters, including the Toy Soldiers. And a certain jolly old elf named Santa Claus will put in an appearance.

During the event, guests can also expect “snowfall,” Disney characters in holiday outfits, a dance party. complimentary snacks and drinks, and special PhotoPass Magic Shots.

We also just got details on pricing for the event — tickets range in price from $169 to $229 (plus tax) for select nights. Tickets go on sale on August 20th, so mark your calendars! We’ll keep you updated with all the latest, so stay tuned!
