Universal Orlando is pretty popular right now, thanks to the grand opening of the new theme park, Epic Universe.

However, people who visit Epic Universe are probably going to visit the rest of Universal Orlando, too, including Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. However, if you’ll be visiting Islands of Adventure this year, we’ve got some ride closures to warn you about.
Overall, a total of four rides will be closed in Universal Islands of Adventure over the next few months. This includes Dr. Doom’s Fear Fall, which will temporarily close on June 16th. However, that ride is scheduled to reopen on June 20th.

Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls will be temporarily closed beginning on October 6th. This ride isn’t rescheduled to reopen until October 31st.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (the ride inside Hogwarts Castle) will be closed from November 3rd through 16th.

Finally, Skull Island: Reign of Kong will temporarily close on August 20th and remain closed until August 29th.

Note that The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is also currently closed with no estimated return date. We already told you about a closure in Universal Studios Florida: E.T. The Adventure Ride will temporarily close from June 9th through 13th.
Note that Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit will permanently close on August 18th to “make way for a new experience.”
