Anybody else here just want to spend an afternoon chilling with all the animals in Disney’s Animal Kingdom? The park is full of incredible creatures, ranging from birds to lions.
And, there’s a NEW member who has just joined the Animal Kingdom family this week!
There’s a new friend who has made his way to the Kilimanjaro Safaris! Dr. Mark Penning (AKA the Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment department) has shared that Humphrey, an almost 2-month old Masai giraffe calf, has finally made his way onto the savanna! After his birthday in June, he’s been chilling behind-the-scenes, learning the ropes from him mom. And, clearly, he’s got the hang of everything because he OWNED that savanna!
You can keep an eye out for Humphrey during your next trip on the Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! If you need some help finding him, you can keep an eye out for the butterfly marking on his right shoulder and heart makings on his coat (how adorable!).
