Recently, many fan-favorite dining locations have reopened around Disney World.
We’ve seen Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto welcome guests back in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and just yesterday TWO popular snack kiosks reopened in Magic Kingdom. But, even as more restaurants reopen, there are still many that remain closed — though that could be changing soon for one spot!
Today, we spotted some menu updates at Magic Kingdom’s Columbia Harbour House! This Quick Service restaurant has been closed since the parks reopened last year (though much of the menu could be found at Tomorrowland Terrace), but fans may get enjoy the eats in the restaurant itself once again soon!
So, what exactly has changed? Well, the biggest updates have come to the Allergy Menu at the dining location.
On the Gluten/Wheat, Egg, and Peanut/Tree Nut Allergy-Friendly Menus, you’ll no longer be able to find the Kids’ Chicken Breast Nuggets or the Kids’ Garden Salad with Chicken. Instead, the menu items have been replaced with a new Kid’s Shrimp Skewer and Kids’ Grilled Salmon with choice of Sides and choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small DASANI® Bottled Water.
And, on the Peanut/Tree Nut Allergy-Friendly Menu, you’ll also notice that the Chicken Pot Pie is no longer an option.
Otherwise, the menu has remained the same with a selection of seafood-inspired Combo Platters and Entrees…
…one Plant-Based option and a wide array of Soups and Sides…
…traditional kids’ meals…
…dessert (including the popular Minnie Mouse Chocolate Lava Cake)…
…and an assortment of Beverages and the Dark Side Chocolate Creation as a Limited Time Offering.
Currently, Disney has not announced a reopening date for Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom, though we have seen other restaurants make menu changes just prior to an opening date being shared. Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for updates, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
