With Disney World’s big 50th Anniversary celebration on October 1st just around the corner, lots of reopenings, refurbishments, and big changes are coming to the parks!

Today, we’ve got another Magic Kingdom reopening for you that’s bringing a long-awaited treat to the park!
Prince Eric’s Village Market reopened today! This Fantasyland snack spot has been closed since the March 2020 closures, so we’re excited to have this Quick Service spot back!

The reopening of Prince Eric’s means we FINALLY get to try that Mermaid Slushy that was announced all the way back in early 2020! The new sweet treat has Frozen Blue Raspberry and Frozen Green Apple slushies mixed together, topped with whipped cream and a mermaid tail. This is one of two new slushies at this spot, the other one being a Frozen Apple slushy!

The Mermaid Slushy is $5.99, and you can request to have just one of the slushy flavors if you don’t want the combo! We also got the Jumbo Pretzel with Cheese, which was available after 11 AM. It was $10.49, and a Cast Member confirmed that the cheese dip is beer cheese. Other menu items at Prince Eric’s include the controversial turkey leg, a pickle, and grapes.

We’re excited to have another great snack spot reopen in Disney World. We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news so stay tuned to All Ears for more!
