We have been on a JOURNEY with Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom!
The castle stage has been under refurbishment for a little while now and just yesterday we started seeing some 50th-anniversary decorations going up. And, today the castle is looking a bit…lopsided.
The spires on Cinderella Castle are getting a new paint job but they haven’t been able to paint it all the way around quite yet. Instead, it looks like Disney has made it about halfway around the bottom ones, stopping right in the middle
With the new paint job you can really tell how faded the sun has made that blue in a short time!
We’re pretty excited to see what the castle ends up looking like with the fresh coat of paint! When you get a closer look at the spires that are done, it is really striking.
We also spotted the royal blue paint job over at Sir Mickey’s so Cinderella Castle might not be the only one getting a glow up! Stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
