Disney has been overhauling their resort Cast Member wardrobe in Disney World!
At this point, we could host a whole runway show with all the new Cast Member looks (not a bad idea, right?)! We’ve seen new looks at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Old Key West Resort…really it might be easier to list off the hotels without an updated look. And, today we spotted another new costume, this time at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Over in the Quick Service restaurant, Roaring Fork, Cast Members are looking a bit…greener (a forest-y green, not a gross green). The new costume includes a green hat and apron with a vibrant lime green undershirt and khakis. And, you have to be a real Disney history buff to know what characters made their way into the pockets!
That’s Humphrey the Bear looking like he’s ready to enjoy one serving of diving fish! If you don’t watch Disney cartoons you might be thinking he’s from Country Bear Jamboree, but that’s not it! Humphrey the Bear actually first appeared on-screen back in 1950 in a Goofy cartoon Hold That Pose.
It’s pretty cool to see this old-school character getting some love again at Disney World! We’re still on the hunt for more new Cast Member costumes so stay tuned! And, check back for all the latest Disney news and updates.
