The opening of a restaurant near Disney World has been postponed.
Portillo’s is a Chicago-style restaurant that was scheduled to open in the O-Town West Complex next to Disney World on March 2nd, 2021. Now, less than a week before its big debut, that opening has been delayed.
Portillo’s announced, “Our buns need more time to steam! Our restaurant opening date has been postponed until further notice.” Looks like that May 2nd opening won’t be happening, after all! Although no opening date has been released, we’ll keep an eye out for updates.
Portillo’s Orlando location will be 7,800 square feet, with two covered patios and double drive-through lanes. This huge diner will serve Portillo’s classics like its famous chocolate cake, Chicago-style hot dogs, and Italian beef sandwiches.
