If you’ve been around here for a while, you likely know that we keep a close eye on all the construction going on around Disney World. Not much can get past us!

Over at Epcot, we’ve seen the barges for the new nighttime show, Harmonious, make their way into position. Then, we were surprised to see some initial testing. And, today we spotted more progress!
Located on World Showcase Lagoon, the barges were displaying a coded grid with the construction crew on site. Testing, testing A1, B1, B2… !

The code starts at A1 and spans through to X1, breaking the large display up into a hard-to-decipher table. Throughout the testing, the parts of the display would light up or flash. This is likely how the team is mapping out projection for the show.

The testing likely confirms that the barges have large displays on both sides that will be used as part of the show. These barges are sure to be an integral part of the show, as we’ve also seen Disney testing the arms that come out from the barge. Though we still don’t know exactly when Harmonious will debut, it looks like progress is taking place!
