Happy Holidays to everyone from Walt Disney World!

It’s Christmas Eve today, and we’re taking in ALL the holiday fun and snacks. But, we’re not alone. Take a look at what the holiday crowds are looking like today in Disney World!
This year, we saw some pretty substantial holiday crowds just before Thanksgiving, which then went down quite a bit the day before the actual holiday itself. In early December, we noticed the crowds picking up at Magic Kingdom, so we were definitely interested to see what the crowds were looking like today at the parks since it is Christmas Eve.

When we first entered Magic Kingdom today, the lines to get in the park were smaller as we quickly made our way towards Main Street.

After the initial walk down Main Street, the crowds dispersed into the different lands to ride their favorite attractions.

We noticed that on one of the pathways near Main Street, arrows were placed on the ground to direct guests to distancing markers. A Cast Member shared that the Emporium line will usually stretch back that far later in the day, so they have the markers in place to prepare.

Guests lined up along the streets earlier in the day to watch the Christmas Character Cavalcades. However, the crowds were a bit smaller than what we’ve previously seen, but that could always change in the afternoon!

While we made our way throughout the park, we noticed that some areas of the Magic Kingdom were busier than others…

…but Christmas Eve has still been on the quieter side for the top of the day!

However, Magic Kingdom was prepared for larger crowds as ropes and distancing measures were set up to help the traffic flow.

Attraction queues also used roped or chained off sections in order to designate which areas were the walking areas and what spots were meant to be ride lines.

However, towards the afternoon, the crowds did pick up a little more as guests hopped over to the parks for Christmas Eve. However, it wasn’t as busy as some might expect it to be!

As we visit the parks today, we’ll be sure to update you on what the crowds look like throughout Christmas Eve! Whether you’re in Disney World or celebrating the holidays at home, we hope you’re safe and having a magical time! Be sure to come back to AllEars throughout the rest of the holiday season for more festive updates.
