We’ve noticed Disney testing out the addition of plexiglass barriers to various attractions since its reopening.

We’ve seen plexiglass barriers added on Rise of the Resistance, Tower of Terror, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, to name a few. Now, another attraction has received its plexiglass makeover — Frozen Ever After in EPCOT.
Frozen Ever After was closed for a short refurbishment during the first week of November. Following this period, plexiglass barriers were installed in between rows in some of the boats. As of last Friday, each boat has received the addition of these barriers!

Because of the new plexiglass additions, guests are now being seated in every row of the boat. Disney has added these dividers as a way to maximize the number of riders on an attraction which helps cut down wait times. We did notice that the barriers get a little bit wet, though.

They can also be found in the queue of the attraction, but those have been there since the park’s reopening!

This isn’t the only attraction we’ve noticed beginning to load all of its rows, either. Slinky Dog Dash and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster both began filling each row with guests earlier this month. Check back for more updates about Disney’s ride procedures!
