PHOTOS! Here’s What Today Was Like at Magic Kingdom!

Hello from Magic Kingdom!

This wasn’t any ordinary trip to Magic Kingdom today! It was one where YOU, our followers, helped us decide what we did in the park! Be sure to follow us on Instagram to help us out next time! For now…let’s see what we were up to today!

Like we said, today was special because we let our Instagram followers choose our day, down to the ears that Molly wore today! Once we were suited up, we explored the park!

Thanks for picking Molly’s ears for the day!

Our day began in Tomorrowland, and for our first ride of the day we took a “spin” on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin! We were asked by a follower to ride until we maxed out our score at 999,999! It took a few tries but we did it! Did you know that you can score a free souvenir from this ride when you get a maximum score?

We continued our day by doing one of our favorite things…by shopping for Minnie Ears! We discovered that one of our favorite ears has gotten yet another makeover, with a bigger, fluffier, and more sparkly bow than ever before!

While we were shopping the morning away, we noticed that several of this year’s Halloween items are on sale! And who doesn’t love a good sale? You can pick up some adorable Minnie and Nightmare Before Christmas mugs for $15.00.

Halloween Candy was also Buy One, Get One!

One of our favorite things to do on Main Street (other than shop for all the latest Halloween goodies) is to check out all the store windows! We were asked by a follower to share some Hidden Mickeys, so here’s one from Main Street Confectionary! Can you spot it?

The Halloween season has totally taken over Magic Kingdom, complete with festive cavalcades with our favorite characters dressed in their Halloween best! But you don’t have to catch the cavalcades to see them. We spotted Winnie the Pooh and the gang hanging out outside of Crystal Palace! We saw Tigger dressed as a pirate…

…and Piglet, dressed as a cute l’il bug…

…and Eeyore, bringing a smile to our face as a clown!

And of course there was Pooh himself!, dressed as an orange bumble bee!

This is a great spot to grab some socially-distanced selfies with the characters, so be sure to stop by if you’re going to be in the park soon!

Hi Tigger!

After we caught up with all of our pals from the Hundred Acre Wood, our tummies were grumbling! So we do as anyone does: head to Aloha Isle for some delicious Dole Whip! We were asked by a follower to RANK the Dole Whip flavors — you’ll have to stay tuned for an upcoming YouTube video for the full ranking!

Who doesn’t love a Dole Whip?

Yesterday may have been National Coffee Day, but if you ask us, every day is Coffee Day. And when you’re in Magic Kingdom, you gotta check out Joffrey’s in Tomorrowland for your morning, afternoon, and evening cup o’ joe! A follower asked us to get a cup of coffee but to let the barista choose! We were given an Iced Hazelnut Latte.

We also braved the Poor Unfortunate Souls Float at Storybook Treats. This frightfully unique dessert is cream cheese soft-serve, black raspberry syrup, and Coke.

And…it’s purple. VERY purple. Fair warning, this snack WILL turn your tongue purple. This frozen treat is pretty polarizing, so you’ll have to try it for yourself and see what you think!

Our poor, unfortunate tongue!

When we had our fill of Magic Kingdom, we hopped on the Monorail to check in on the progress being made on the Grand Floridan walkway!

For guests staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you’ll soon be able to walk to Magic Kingdom!

And that was it for our fun-filled day in Magic Kingdom! It’s always a treat to visit Disney World’s flagship theme park, and we will be sure to visit again VERY soon!

  1. It is always nice to see Molly enjoying her day at WDW. But all those neat and clean snacks, Molly. Let’s see a picture of you chowing down on one of those gynormous turkey legs getting sauce on your shirt or needing a thousand napkins to wipe the sauce and juice off your hands. Or, as happened to our daughter’s friend, a churro where a sea gull swooped down and took the churro right out of her hand. Half the fun of Disney is the consequences for our indulgences, when we get to say “Who cares? We are at Disney.”
