Boo to you!
It’s officially the start of spooky season at Disney World! Today was the first official day of the Halloween season at Magic Kingdom, and it was filled with festive decorations, dastardly characters, and Cast Members decked out in their Boo to You finest! We’re breaking it all down and taking you along with us on our trip today to Magic Kingdom.
Halloween is always a fun time at Disney World, but there was something extra special about seeing those Mickey pumpkin wreaths out this year!

Plus, we got to see how those autumnal colors looked against the NEW Cinderella Castle!
Along with the wreaths on the lamp posts up and down Main Street, U.S.A…
…there were also pops of red, orange, and yellow leaves around the train station as well!

Along with the decorations, Cast Members also got a new look for the season! Mickey’s Not So Scary may be canceled, but Cast Members still got the chance to wear their outfits from the event!
Cast Members will be wearing their outfits all throughout the fall season, through the end of October!

The day started with a very welcome surprise — Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet were all dressed in their Halloween costumes going down Main Street, U.S.A.

Could they possibly be any cuter?!
Tigger also stopped to throw Molly some imaginary candy along the way (how thoughtful!).

But, there were plenty more characters to see today! First up, we had Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade, which will be going through the Magic Kingdom on select days.

We love getting to see Oogie Boogie, Jack, and Sally up close!
Villains also get in on the fun with the Disney Villain Cavalcade! This featured dastardly favorites such as Maleficent…
…the Evil Queen…
…Captain Hook and Bowler Hat Guy…
…Gaston…
…and the Queen of Hearts
Can we just take a moment to admire Bowler Hat Guy’s dancing skills?

The third new character cavalcade is sure to be a favorite — the Boo to You Cavalcade! This one features Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy all dressed in their finest spooky season get-ups!

The AllEars team might have all gotten a little emotional hearing Boo to You play again!
We also all agreed that Pluto’s lion costume was a real winner.
Over in Frontierland, you can also check out Chip ‘n’ Dale as they sail along the water!

We have to admit that it’s really fun getting to have all of the Halloween entertainment available during the day at the park!
You can read about ALL the Halloween entertainment available here!
One of our favorite parts about Halloween right now might have to be that adults can also dress up for the day! Molly chose to go as a pumpkin for the day.
But we also saw some awesome costumes from others. Check out these lovely ladies who dressed as Lock, Shock, and Barrel from Nightmare Before Christmas!

Our fun didn’t stop on our way out of the park, either! We spotted Gaston riding a horse this time as part of the Disney Villain Cavalcade.
And on our way out, Mickey and pals were waving to guests at the train station!
All in all, it was a truly spooktacular day over at Magic Kingdom!
