Disney Springs was the first area to reopen after the closures at Walt Disney World.
The theme parks and Disney Springs have been drawing in a few more crowds since the property officially reopened. To accommodate the crowds, Disney has taken to extending theme park hours for select busy days and weekends. Now, Disney Springs will see extended hours every weekend!
This shopping and dining district is a hoppin’ spot on the weekends. Given that admission is free and a Disney Park Pass reservation is not required to enter, Disney Springs attracts locals and visitors alike. While the theme parks have shortened hours on most days, guests like to head here for after-hours fun. Disney Springs will now compensate for the weekend crowds by extending operating times by one hour. The area will now be open from 10AM – 11PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
Disney Springs is made up of many third-party shops and restaurants. It’s still up to each business how long they will remain open on the weekends. We’ll continue to update you on park hours and crowds at Disney World!
