You know you’re a die-hard Disney World fan when you’ve got a favorite form of park transportation.
Whether it’s the monorail, boats, buses (who hurt you?), or the Skyliner, chances are you have a preference. And, if you’re someone who prefers the Skyliner, we’ve got some excellent news for you!
Good news if you’re heading to Disney World soon — the Skyliner will reopen from a brief refurbishment on January 22nd. Well, part of it will anyway!
The Skyliner was scheduled to be under refurbishment from January 16th through the 21st, but service between Disney’s Riviera Resort and EPCOT’s International Gateway will remain closed through January 27th, 2024.
This means you’ll be able to start using any of the other Skyliner routes, like from Pop Century/Art of Animation or Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, on January 22nd. However, you’ll have to still find alternate means of transportation instead of taking the Skyliner to EPCOT.
Buses and the Disney World monorail are still options, along with rideshare or driving!
