We have been exploring Magic Kingdom all day at the Cast Member Preview!

One thing we’ve been curious to see are the “Relaxation Stations” throughout the parks, which are areas specifically set up where guests can remove their masks and kick back.
We saw them at Universal Orlando (called URest Areas), and they were simple areas (two in each park, and one in City Walk) with tables and chairs spaced out at least 6 feet apart. Guests were able to visit and enjoy some “mask-free” time.
Here’s a first look at the Relaxation Stations in Disney World!
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom currently has three Relaxation Stations. You’ll find one in Tomorrowland at the Tomorrowland Terrace. We spotted tables and chairs spaced out throughout the dining location. The entrance to the Relaxation Station had hand sanitizer available for guest to use before removing their masks.

There is ample seating at this Relaxation Station, all under cover in case it rains or is particularly sunny outside.

There’s also a Relaxation Station in Frontierland at the Golden Oak Outpost.

There are tables and chairs set up for guests to kick back and rest (it’s nice to see some shade here!).

Not all areas are available for seating, however. Certain areas are blocked off for guests to use.

The third Relaxation Station in Magic Kingdom is at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus. The space is normally home to character meet and greets.

Like the other Relaxation Stations, this one has some tables and chairs while keeping travel parties at least six feet apart. They also have green markers indicating a party may stand in that location.

This one is indoors, so if you’re looking for air conditioning, Pete’s Silly Sideshow is the Station you’ll want to check out.

All of these areas in Magic Kingdom are great for when you need a moment to sit down and relax or sip on a cool beverage. Currently, there is no precise time limit for the Relaxation Stations, although one Cast Member told us that if it got busy they would recommend you keep your visit to about thirty minutes.

We’ll keep you posted on the Relaxation Stations in Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT when those parks reopen over the next week or so!
