The Are the Most EPIC Disney World Popcorn Buckets from the Last Year

We’re big fans of Disney popcorn, and we love having a new Disney popcorn bucket to store our salty delight in. Disney releases new popcorn bucket designs with some regularity, so collecting popcorn buckets from the Disney Parks has become a part of Disney fan culture!

So it’s possible that the AllEars team has collected a bucket or ten, and we’re highlighting some of our favorites for you!

Hitchhiking Ghosts

Let’s kick things off with the epic Hitchhiking Ghost Popcorn Buckets and Sipper that debuted in 2019. These were initially released in Disneyland for Haunted Mansion’s 50th anniversary.

They then made their way to Disney World for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  For a short period of time, they were party exclusives until Disney decided to make them available all day.

You could purchase the Phineas Popcorn Bucket, the Gus Dessert Bucket, and the Ezra Sipper at locations like Pecos Bill in Magic Kingdom. We’re hoping they return to this year’s party!!

Christmas Season Buckets

Speaking of the holidays, we were quite fond of a few of the Christmas Popcorn Buckets that were released last year.

Not only was there a totally epic Light-Up Mickey Christmas Tree Popcorn Bucket but there was also a Pluto Popcorn Bucket. And Pluto was wearing none other than an ugly (actually it was totally adorable) Christmas sweater.

We found the Mickey Light-Up Christmas Tree Popcorn Bucket in Disney’s Animal Kingdom in November.

The Pluto Popcorn bucket was a rerelease, and we initially spotted it in Disney Springs in November.

Millennium Falcon Bucket

Now, let’s talk about a few surprise popcorn buckets that were released within the last year.

We freaked out when we found out that the Millennium Falcon Fry/Popcorn Bucket that was released in Disneyland would be flying into Disney World.

This bucket itself is HUGE and sadly it doesn’t hold much popcorn. BUT we think that the design makes up for it. This was another one that was first spotted at a popcorn cart in Disney Springs.

Skyliner Bucket

Another mode of transportation popcorn bucket that made it’s way to Disney World is the Skyliner Popcorn Bucket.  This was a pretty popular option and sold out pretty quickly.

We found this one in Epcot and LOVED the fun character designs. They look so similar to the actual Skyliner Gondolas.

Simba Bucket

Another fun popcorn bucket that recently released was the Simba Popcorn Bucket. This little cute baby of a bucket was released at Animal Kingdom! We just with a Rafiki Popcorn Bucket or sipper would have been released to hold little Simba up.

Steamboat Mickey and Minnie Buckets

Last but not least, we adored were the matching Steamboat Mickey and Minnie Popcorn Buckets that released in Magic Kingdom. The Mickey had previously released in Magic Kingdom and Minnie had released in Disneyland as an AP-exclusive.

These were our favorite little popcorn buckets that have released in the last year! We’re really eager to see what new buckets are released once the parks reopen.
