‘Steamboat Willie’ Mickey and Minnie Popcorn Buckets Have Sailed Over to Disney World!

Earlier this month, Disneyland released what may have been one of our favorite popcorn buckets yet — the Steamboat Minnie!

Cinderella Castle

Featuring an adorable Mickey Balloon design with Minnie’s floral hat, and a design reminiscent of her classic dress from Steamboat Willie, we adored the new popcorn bucket debut! And now, this adorable popcorn bucket has just sailed its way over to Disney World — and she was joined by a familiar face!

The Steamboat Minnie Popcorn Bucket has arrived at Magic Kingdom, along with the return of the Steamboat Willie Popcorn Bucket we had previously seen last year in Disneyland!

The design of the Steamboat Minnie Popcorn Bucket is nearly identical to Disneyland’s, with one major exception — this one is not an Annual Passholder-exclusive! Because of that, the back flap of this one doesn’t feature any Passholder logo.

The new popcorn bucket still features a film strip-design on its strap, featuring our gal Minnie in a variety of poses. One of the standout elements is also the iconic floral hat, which makes this new popcorn bucket oh-so cute!

We spotted both the Steamboat Willie and Steamboat Minnie Popcorn Buckets in Magic Kingdom, at the popcorn cart in the Castle Hub. Each are available for $12.75 alone, or $18 filled with popcorn, with refills available for an additional cost.

  1. My daughter got the actual steamboat popcorn bucket when we visited TDL in Aug 2019. She already has her eye on the Minnie bucket!
