Starting at the end of this month, Dinoco’s own Cruz Ramirez will be meeting and greeting her fans once again (she stopped for a bit while the Academy was being constructed!). But that’s not all!

According to Disney Parks Blog, DJ — a car billed as “the ultimate party on wheels” — will be blasting tunes several times a day in a dance party called “DJ’s Ready! Set! Party Time!” Also on hand to party? McQueen’s Pit Crew! They’ll be getting the crowd hyped with Cars-inspired dances and games!

  1. I hope this new attraction will be more family friendly than the new Disney Junior Dance Party. Our family experienced the dance party last month. We had children ages 3,6,8 &11. How bad is it? Let me count the ways. First, after parking a stroller, the two youngest kids were caught, terrified, in a stormtrooper march, compete with an ominous Darth Vader. Why do they have to come out right where little kids are gathered? Second, the show itself is loud, fast paced, with impossible dance moves. Little children like to clap, jump up and down, and spin around. Our 11 year old was embarrassed, and even she couldn’t do most of the lightning fast intricate moves. . Appearances by the actual Disney characters were minimal. Kids appeard on the jumbo tron, but only those lucky Ones in front center. Come on Disney! Who designs these shows? Your audience is mainly small children. Fix this psychedelic mess. We used to love Playhouse disney. It’s just awful now, trying too hard to be hip.

  2. Fantastic! DHS needs this to separate from being uber-Star Wars and keep the Pixar contingent a firm feature. Love this idea Disney!
