Ate here on our last night, 6/13. Definitely worth going for just the atmosphere as it was just like out of the movie. Positives were that we arrived 15 minutes early, and we were seated almost immediately. I ordered the shrimp and scallops, and it was wonderful! My husband and oldest daughter order the steak, and they thought it was okay. Their fries were too salty. My youngest daughter ordered the the fish, and I even thought it was too fishy if you know what I mean. The cupcakes were wonderful. Got to spend lots of time with the beast upon our departure. Would recommend just for the atmosphere. One of our cheaper meals for a table service during the week. We chose not to do dining plan this time as our 3 and 6 year olds don't often eat enough to justify the dining plan.

Pros:

atmosphere

Cons:

food okay, ballroom very loud....

I think I set myself up for an unbelievable meal or expectation of what I thought the experience would be like...it just didn't do anything for me. The restaurant is beautiful. The west wing was right out of the movie which is very cool to see. That in itself is worth taking a peak however, I won't be returning. This was a one and done for me. I ordered the strip steak. It tasted like I cooked it on the grill at home. It was good but not great. It was tender but not melt in mouth great. It was ok. The strawberry cheesecake for dessert was just ok too. We sampled the soup, that was just ok. Service was ok. It wasn't that it was bad. The food was passable It was a bit of a let down. Again...maybe I went thinking that this was going to the "the" place on property and it just didn't do it for me. Beast was ok as well def not the best character interaction on property. Other reviewers were wow-ed. I was not.

Pros:

West Wing

Cons:

Did not live up to my expectations

We had a reservation and had only a short wait before being seated. The setting is beautiful. We were seated at a table for 2 in the Ballroom. Our server was fine, not too rushed, not too slow. The food was good- we had pork chop and salmon with passion fruit pastry for dessert. Tables were close together but no worse than other restaurants including some signature dining spots. It was loud due to high ceiling and large number of guests. It felt like being in a dining hall. I am glad we ate here and saw it, but we both agree that we don't want to eat here again.

Pros:

Theming, a beautiful restaruant to see

Cons:

Very busy

We thought this meal was delicious. I had the pork and my husband had the steak. It was all very good. The waitress even made sure our infant son had something to eat and when I told her our son with autism refused to eat anything on the children's menu, she found us macaroni and cheese. She came back regularly to be sure that he was happy with his meal. It was a relief for us! We were seated in the west wing right in front of the rose. The only down fall to this entire meal was the slow service. I saw our waitress had a lot of tables and she had to clean them all after the parties left. This could be the reason for the slow service. By the time we had left our meal, we had been there for over 2 hours. Other than that we were very pleased!

Pros:

food, dessert, experience

Cons:

slow service

My sister and I dined here last week as part of her birthday celebration and had a lovely experience.

We were seated within 15 minutes of our 6:30 ADR and had the good fortune to be located in the West Wing. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant is stunning, but the West Wing offers a smaller, more intimate space with darker lighting and the magical rose under glass. Thunder and lightning will crackle every so often, adding the the overall mysterious ambiance.

Our server was charming, helpful with wine pairings, and very prompt. We started with the Assorted Cured Meats and Sausages tray. It included three cured meats, two different kinds of sausage, and two exceptional pate varieties, along with plenty of toasted baguette. The pates were the highlight of the tray - both were unique and flavorful - but we really enjoyed everything offered in this appetizer.

Our entrees included the Cornish Hen and the Sauteed Shrimp & Scallops. The Cornish hen was the standout. It was roasted to perfection, juicy, and lightly scented with fennel. The Shrimp & Scallops were good, but underwhelming. The sauce flavor wasn't fully developed, and the two scallops were just slightly over cooked. I suspect this was just the result of a very rushed and busy kitchen.

Our server recognized my sister's birthday and presented her with a birthday candle in the "grey stuff" and a card signed by Belle and The Beast, as well as himself (a gesture we thought was quite nice and personal). The dessert cart is wonderful! We loved being able to see our options and be served immediately. The triple chocolate cupcake was divine.

The Beast made the rounds through the restaurant and was available to greet us in his study after the meal. Having The Beast as a presence in the restaurant makes for a far more immersive experience - you really do get the impression you're his "guest."

I'll dine here again just for the experience of it. Everything is just gorgeous and straight out of the movie. I can't think of a better addition to the Magic Kingdom.

Two things to note: The waiting area is reserved exclusively for people with reservations, and it is very small without seating. There's not much to look at here, so people tend to crowd around the front to get a better look at the dining area. This is understandable, but does make for awkward dining if you're seated too close to the entry.

Similarly, in the West Wing, people crowd around the magic rose for pictures and some are not so polite about moving around diners. I saw many bump into tables and jostle glasses. I hope that as excitement over this restaurant settles down that more privacy will be offered to diners in these areas.

Pros:

Atmosphere

Cons:

crowding

We waited almost a half hour on the bridge after checking in and before being seated. Then we waited for our server to stop by our table, because we didn't get a kids' menu and needed one. Then we waited for her to come back. And waited. And waited. I had the shrimp and scallops (minus the shrimp) in the puff pastry, it was very very good. Daughter had the kids grilled steak. It was also very good, but it took FOREVER for the server to check on us in order for us to ask for steak sauce. We were done with dinner for over ten minutes before she asked if we wanted dessert, and then we ended up getting the check without even having dessert because she never came back. The place is HUGE but I think she only had three or four tables, so it wasn't like she was completely swamped, she just seemed to be on her own timeframe. There was a single diner sitting behind us who had a completely different experience--but then again, she also had a completely different server. It was nice being able to see the Beast afterwards. I would recommend this restaurant for the experience, but I don't know that we would ever return--yes, the waiting was that bad!!

Pros:

Good food, great environment

Cons:

SLOW service

We dined inside Beast's castle recently. Our ADR was for later in the evening at 9:00 p.m. We were so lucky to be seated in the ballroom right up against the windows. The atmosphere is just breathtakingly beautiful. Food was delicious. We ordered the french onion soup, cornish game hen and steak meals. We also tried the chocolate, lemon and strawberry cupcakes for dessert. I would have given my experience a 10 except for the fact that we were so rushed. Our soups arrived before our drinks did and then our entrees 5 minutes after that! Cupcakes arrived before we finished the entrees... We were literally meeting the Beast on our way out just 30 minutes after we sat down.

Pros:

Beautiful atmosphere

Cons:

We were rushed,,,in and out under 30 minutes

DH and I had 7:20 dinner reservations at Be Our Guest on April 23. We arrived a little after 7, and there was a huge line/cluster of people waiting for the check-in CMs (two of them). It seemed like many people thought they could just walk up and get in, and had long conversations with the CMs before they were turned away. Others walked down the bridge just to be turned back and get into the line slightly more frustrated. There wasn't any signage explaining where to go, and a lot of chaos/confusion was the result.

Once we were finally called to be seated, I got to carry "Lumiere's brother" to light our way to our seat in the ballroom - we had a great view of the ballroom and into the Library where the Beast was greeting guests. Tables are, however, very close together, so any sort of romantic ambience is hard to accomplish. DH got the steak, and I got the shrimp/scallops in puff pastry. We were both incredibly pleased with our choices. We each got a cupcake for dessert (chocolate for me, strawberry for him), and then got to try the grey stuff since it was our anniversary! It really is delicious.

Food comes out very, very quickly - the table next to us received their entrees 1 minute after they had started their appetizers, so the meal may feel a little rushed if you let it. We took our time and enjoyed the experience, especially meeting the Beast at the end. Overall, a fantastic place to eat if you can get reservations.

Pros:

Food, Atmosphere

Cons:

Check-in

Dinner here was amazing and delicious. Our waitress was very nice and accomodated our young ones needs. I had the Cornish Hen which was great. Dessert was great also! We sat in the Ballroom and had a view of the Beast taking pics in the library. Our 3 yr old was afraid of him though.

I recommend this restaurant for everyone if you can get a reservation in advance!

Pros:

Delicious food, great environment, fantastic detailing

Cons:

kids may be afraid of the Beast - he is very large

The restaurant is amazing- just as you would imagine the castle to be! We made our reservations 180 days out and were not disappointed at all. The food was very good! The French Onion soup was wonderful. We all had the steaks, which were very good. An unplanned surprise: my daughter celebrated her 11th birthday while at Disney. She had her pin on- and our waitress brought out a birthday treat plus a card signed by Belle & the Beast. My daughter was just thrilled! I would recommend that you book early and go for the Belle/Beast experience, it is well worth it!

Pros:

great food, overall experience

Cons:

none
