This place is beautiful! We ate in the main dinning room. We knew what we were getting before we even sat down. Our waitress was very nice. My boyfriend had the steak and said it was the best steak he's had. I had the Seafood Puff and it was amazing. The dessert cart came around with so many choices. I had the passion Fruit Cream Puff and it was just full of flavor!

We ate dinner here for the first time during our recent vacation (12/04). The restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful. The attention to detail is amazing. We had an amazing server, Jana, and we can't say enough good things about her. Despite the beauty & the wonderful service, the food is very disappointing. Everything we tried, steak & seafood, was over done and tasteless. The one bright spot of the meal is their desserts. They were all fresh and delicious. We were all looking forward to trying this restaurant and we all came away disappointed.

Please go to dinner here at least once, if but for nothing else, for the amazing interiors! But the food, EH! The onion soup was too salty for me to even eat and the pork chop was flavorless. The 'pasta' was basically macaroni and cheese. Veggies were good. My husband had the salmon, and he enjoyed it. We skipped dessert. I am glad we went, but it will not be on our 'must do' list for next year.

Absolutely stunning restaurant! We were in the main ballroom and I loved seeing all the details. The food had some pluses (rolls were very good, steak was good but a little overdone.) But also some misses (I really wanted to like the grey stuff but it tasted bland. ) I also wish they would have a few more traditional kid offerings. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves the Beauty and the Beast movie.

The pictures of this place don't do it justice, it was so beautiful!! Dinners were all very good. We had Steak and the Seafood, they even let me just get shrimp and leave out the scallops.
It was wonderful to meet the beast, he wasn't very talkative though.

The surroundings are stunning, and guests are invited to wander the various rooms after the meal.
I wanted to love the place, but most of the food was terrible. The French onion soup was the worst I've tasted - a muddy watered-down broth topped with flavourless cheese. I ordered the shrimp and scallops in puff pastry as my entree. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the sauce was quite good, but the puff pastry was tough and chewy, and the scallops (which were served on the side) were cold.
My husband started with the mussels, which were slightly overcooked. The tomato and onions in the broth were tasty, but the broth itself was watery and flavourless. He ordered the braised pork as his entree. The pork was dry and, again, flavourless. The cauliflower puree tasted like exactly that - pureed cauliflower with nothing added. The carrots were overcooked and slightly bitter. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked, tough and lacked seasoning.
Our server was pleasant but seemed to be struggling to keep up with the demands of too many tables. To her credit, after we told her our concerns about the food, she was very apologetic and notified a manager. The manager listened attentively to our comments about the food, apologized, and removed the soup and the pork from our bill. The remaining items (the mussels appetizer, shrimp and scallops entree, one glass of wine, and one bottle of Perrier) came to $58 before tip.
Overall, this is indifferent fare at fine dining prices. Go for a quick-service lunch just to experience the beauty of the place, and go to California Grill for dinner.

I really enjoyed our dinner here on 9/21. Our service started out very slow. We didn't even get our drinks until after we had finished our appetizer. However, after that, it picked up very nicely. I had the steak and it was absolutely delicious. The decor in the restaurant is absolutely stunning and I would recommend trying it just for that alone. I hope that they can fix the service issue because it they do, it will be darn near flawless

We were lucky enough to get in here during September free dining. We were seated in the West Wing right on time- I would have liked to be in the ballroom but as people were getting turned away at the bridge because they booked solid I wasn't about to complain. My kids loved the West Wing- their favorite part was the Beasts picture that changed when the thunder sounded. Our server was very nice(we didn't run into anyone that worked at Disney that wasn't!). My husband got the steak and I had the shrimp and scallops. The kids got pasta and chicken. We don't make them finish dinner on vacation so I don't know if it was good or not, but neither complained. My husband said he steak was good-he loved the pomme frites. The shrimp and scallops was good but the pastry they came in was very tough- I don't know if it was stale or sat under a warmer too long. The cupcakes were a hit with everyone, I had the "grey stuff" and I loved it. We had free dining but I would pay to eat here again-if I can get reservations!

All the buzz I had heard about this restaurant was that it was spectacular, not to be missed, etc. so I was disappointed when we originally couldn't secure an ADR; but I kept checking back occasionally and was ecstatic when I lucked into one! Unfortunately, this did NOT live up to it's hype. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, you really DO feel that you have been transported to a magical castle. We ended up being seated in the West Wing, which was dark but was much smaller and more intimate than the ballroom. Our service was terrible, tables that were seated after us were eating before we were. I had the onion soup, which I had also had the night before at Les Chefs de France in Epcot; the one at Be Our Guest definitely left me unimpressed. The broth seemed weak and watery, although the onions were nice and tender there just wasn't a whole lot of flavor to the soup. For my entrée, I had the steak. Although it was cooked to order, that's about all I can say for it. Not much taste, and accompanied by VERY salty French fries. The desserts overall didn't seem like much more than glorified cupcakes, except for the "Gray stuff"-I would absolutely recommend that! The highlight was that after dinner, we were able to get our picture taken with the Beast. I will not be including this on my "must do" list for my next trip, however.

We arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes before our 9:15 reservation, to see if we could get in any earlier. However, we were seated right at 9:15. Sadly, there are no benches to wait for your meal, so we had to stand outside in the heat. The theming of the main ballroom where we were seated was spectacular. We had a table right next to the window with the falling snow and french countryside mural. The Beast, or the Master, walked through the ballroom about once an hour which was a nice touch. Our server was great, and very accommodating. However, the whole meal felt very rushed like they were trying to push us out, since the restaurant closed at 10pm.
We enjoyed the duck appetizer and trio of salads. Our server recommended the French onion soup, so I ordered. It ended up consisting of a very weak vegetable broth and undercooked onions. Our entrees were a fatty, thin, gristly strip loin and overcooked shrimp and scallop dish- they were pretty much terrible. Then, we were brought the dessert cart which consisted of cupcakes that are served at lunch. I was expecting plated desserts at a fine dining restaurant, so this was terribly disappointing. Also, before our meal ended we were told we needed to rush if we wanted to get our picture with the Beast since the restaurant was closing. Again, disappointing. While it was nice to be able to order a bottle of wine, the selection was incredibly limited.
Overall, the theming was very nice and the servers were fabulous. However, the poor food and rushed meal were enough to make this our last meal. I might recommend to someone just looking for a meal to make their kids happy. However, if you appreciate good food quality, don't bother.
