Really wonderful shot! Did you hand-hold or use a tripod? Love the soft water – just gorgeous.
Barrie’s reply: Thanks Marlene! I handheld this one, but worked very hard at keeping it as steady as possible.
Absolutely gorgeous Barrie!!!
Barrie’s reply: Thank you Tracy!
I always love taking that picture, and what’s so great about that spot, is that I rarely find anyone back there. 🙂
Barrie’s reply: I like it back there too. It’s really refreshing on a hot day too!
I like the way you softened the water. Very good use of shutter speed.
Barrie’s reply: Thanks Phil – I worked hard on getting it right. I have several that didn’t turn out at all!
You know, I think I took a picture of this same waterfall when you and mom and I went there back in 1988! Mine, however, was way overexposed. It came out pretty, though. I think. LOL
Barrie’s reply: I’d love to see those old photos! I’ve taken tons of pictures of this waterfall and nearly all of them are overexposed. Finally, I used a polarizing filter and got the water to look how I wanted without completely blowing out the highlights.
This is one of the best waterfall shots I have seen! I love that little ‘hidden’ part of Canada. Many people don’t know it’s in the pavillion. Love your blogs!
Barrie’s reply: Thanks Tracy!
Wow! This photo is so clear I feel like I’m getting wet from the mist. Absolutely beautiful shot.
Barrie’s reply: Thanks Rich!
