CONFIRMED: Disney Reveals NEW Time and Date for Beak and Barrel Reservations Following Tech Delays

Well, we all tried to get reservations for Magic Kingdom‘s new pirate lounge, Beak and Barrel, earlier this month, only to find that the entire system crashed. Yes, it’s THAT popular (and it’s not even open yet!).

Disney told us we could try again the week of August 18th, but that was all the information we had…for now. Finally, though, we’ve got NEW information about when new reservations can be made, and it’s sooner than you think!

Disney has now announced that reservations for Beak and Barrel will open for guests on August 20th at 7 PM — yes, in the evening, which isn’t something we usually see. However, our best guess is that by opening these reservations later in the day, fewer people are online making reservations for other aspects of their trip.

These reservations were initially set to open on August 14th for the August 29th opening, but technical difficulties necessitated a delay. The issues were so intense that NO ONE was able to make a reservation, so it’s not that some people got through and others didn’t.

We’re hoping that this will NOT be the case for this upcoming week, because by the time reservations open, the lounge will officially open in just over one week (nine days to be exact), so preparation will need to happen fast! We’ll be trying to grab reservations the moment they’re set to go up, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated!
