When Disney introduced Lightning Lane Premier Pass (Disney’s luxury skip-the-line service), many were doubtful people would pay those high prices (HUNDREDS of dollars per person).

Well, prepared to be surprised because Lightning Lane Premier Pass has been WAY more popular than you may have thought. In fact, this expensive pass is sold out for Magic Kingdom EIGHT days in a ROW in the upcoming spring break season.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass costs $129–$449 per person, per day, depending on which park you use it in. Magic Kingdom is at the very top of that price range, often sitting around $400 per person per day.

The reason for this high price? Well, you can skip EVERY attraction in the park once by using the Lightning Lane line, and you don’t have to make any reservations ahead of time. This saves you a LOT of time while you’re in the park and can make your trip more enjoyable.

We keep an eye on prices and availability of Lightning Lane Premier Pass so you can help prepare for your trip; however, if you’re in the parks from March 14th through March 21st, you’re out of luck if you want a Magic Kingdom pass. That’s right — the Premier Pass for Magic Kingdom is sold out EIGHT DAYS in a row.

Animal Kingdom isn’t sold out for any of the dates (and we do NOT recommend purchasing a Premier Pass for Animak Kingdom at this time since there are so few attractions). EPCOT is sold out for one of the days, while Hollywood Studios is sold out for six days between March 14th and March 21st.

Currently, Disney World is entering into spring break season, which is likely the reason for seeing higher crowds and Premier Pass more often sold out. Now remember, Premier Pass isn’t your only option — you can also choose to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Lightning Lane Single Pass for your trip as well. While it’s not cheap, it is a much more affordable option than Premier Pass, and still lets you skip the lines to those popular attractions.
