Disney Reveals CLUE About Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025

Disney has opened auditions for not one, but several highly anticipated parades coming to the Magic Kingdom in 2025.

Headless Horseman at the Boo-to-You Parade

Performers seeking roles in the Festival of Fantasy parade, the 2025 edition of the Boo To You parade, and the upcoming Starlight nighttime parade are encouraged to submit their auditions.

Disney’s Instagram post reads, “#AuditionAlert @WaltDisneyWorld is seeking Male-Presenting Parade Performers for a variety of offerings including ✨ Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, ? Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and ⭐ Disney Starlight! Submit online through Feb. 16 at the link in our bio.”

The Festival of Fantasy, which serves as the Magic Kingdom’s current afternoon parade, is a “grand gala, with spectacular, state-of-the-art floats starring some of your favorite Disney Characters from Tangled, Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid” according to Disney.

The Boo to You Parade takes place during the park’s seasonal, after-hours Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Party event. Some of the highlights of this “masquerade of characters” 2024 edition included:

A frenzy of favorite Disney friends donning Halloween costumes—including Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle Cow, and Daisy Duck dressed as the sinister Sanderson Sisters—as they prepare to go trick-or-treating down Main Street, U.S.A.
Hitchhiking Ghosts and the spectral Bride, gliding among the waltzing spirits—representing the Haunted Mansion from Liberty Square.
A wicked assortment of Disney villains reigns over a Fantasyland-inspired grand finale.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Finally, there’s the highly anticipated Disney’s Starlight. First announced at the 2024 D23 Ultimate Fan Event, this upcoming parade is scheduled to debut sometime in the summer, and will “continue the nighttime spectacular legacy started by the Main Street Electrical Parade using the latest technology to tell new stories about the characters you love.

Starlight will feature characters from a litany of Disney films including, Peter Pan, Encanto, and Frozen according to Disney.

A new nighttime parade “Disney Starlight” will come to Magic Kingdom in Summer 2025 using the latest technology to bring Disney stories to life and will feature moments from fan-favorite films like Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Peter Pan,” “Frozen” and “Encanto.”
