There are loads of restaurants in Magic Kingdom, but it’s a park that’s not very well known for having great food choices.

Will you have something decent to eat? For sure, there are a lot of places to grab something edible and not terrible, but there aren’t many places that will blow your socks off like there are with other Disney World parks. If you’re looking for the best sit down meal in the park, you may be tempted to head to Cinderella’s Royal Table, but we’re here to tell you that there’s a BETTER option available!
Cinderella’s Royal Table is often the number one sought after table service restaurant in the park, but we’ll be honest — the decor is beautiful and the atmosphere won’t soon be forgotten, however, the food leaves a lot to be desired.

We love getting to meet Princesses during our meal, but we often find that we leave disappointed with what we’ve eaten and don’t feel the high price is worth the experience. That’s why we took to AllEars reviews — made by AllEars readers themselves — to see what the real best table service restaurant is in the parks, and it may surprise you!

Over in Liberty Square, you’ll find Liberty Tree Tavern. It doesn’t look very sought after from the front, and you may not think a great meal could be hiding in Liberty Square, but this family-style meal is truly wildly impressive.

An anonymous review from August 2023 we feel sums things up pretty well, saying:
“When my family visited in late July, we were able to book a last minute reservation. The restaurant is very cozy and cute. The food was delicious! The salad was surprisingly good, and we liked everything they gave us for the entree. The sticky toffee cake was so good, and it might be my new favorite MK dessert. We’re so glad we ate here, and we will definitely be back!”

This restaurant essentially serves Thanksgiving style food all year round in pretty massive portions. You can ask for more of anything you’d like without any additional cost. Now, we will admit that many of you may dine here and say “well, it’s just Thanksgiving food, I can make this whenever I want at home.” That’s true, but this is higher quality food than you’ll find in most other locations in Magic Kingdom, and thanks to mac and cheese and mashed potatoes being part of the menu, it’s usually a good option for picky eaters as well.

The real star of this show is the AMAZING Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake dessert you get at the end of your meal — we’ve yet to meet someone who dislikes this dessert, and many members of our team honestly dream about it.

It’s important to take a look at the menu before visiting and decide if this meal will be right for you and your party, because as much as we love it, it may not be right for everyone. But remember: We want to hear YOUR thoughts! Leave a review right here on AllEars for the restaurants you’ve been to so you can help out fellow Disney lovers planning their next trip! My family loves Liberty Tree the food is fresh and delicious. Breakfast at the Cinderellas Royal Table is a beautiful experience but portions are small and I will continue to book it on our trips for special occasions my sons dined there in the early 2000 when Peter Pan and Alladdin were there along with the Princesses.
I actually preferred the previous version of Liberty Square Tavern, when you could order a la carte. Their Celebration salad entree was to die for; not everyone wants to eat such a hearty meal as their all you care to eat offering. And you could still get that heavenly Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. Yum!
