What CHANGED at Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom Following Disney Imagineering's Recent Visit?

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened in Disney World earlier this year, and, yes we’ve been riding a LOT it ever since.

The new Magic Kingdom ride tells a story that picks up after the events of The Princess and the Frog and ends with a HUGE New Orleans Mardi Gras party that Tiana has invited us all to. Now, we’ve studied every detail of the ride (including the incredible animatronics), but there’s a new detail that Disney has just added. We’ll warn you now, though: this detail could pull on your heartstrings.

Because Tiana’s Bayou Adventure takes place AFTER The Princess and the Frog, some characters are not included on the ride. That includes Ray, a Cajun firefly who is in love with a star named Evangeline. After Ray gets squashed fighting the Shadow Man, he finally gets to join Evangeline in the night sky, becoming a star himself. Yes, it’s a very touching moment in the movie.

Well, Ray and Evangeline have finally been added to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disney World. Imagineers have added the Ray and Evangeline stars to the ride. You’ll find them twinkling brightly above New Orleans in one of the scenes with the frogs.
