I go to Disney World all the time, which means I get to try a lot of snacks there.

Since I go to Disney World so often, I know a thing or two about where to get a good meal, snack, or even drink. Lately, Disney has been offering more and more options for those who have different dietary needs. Disney has been good at accommodating those with allergies or people who do not eat gluten. There have even been more vegan snack options around the resort, which I am a huge fan of!
Dining at Disney World can seem tough for a vegan like me, but I just tried five vegan Disney World snacks, and you will not believe which is my favorite since there are so many good options!

Vegan Tonga Toast
Over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you can find Kona Cafe. Kona Cafe is known for serving the iconic Tonga Toast. This dish is massive: banana-stuffed sourdough bread coated in cinnamon sugar and served with a strawberry compote.

Before, there was no vegan version of the strawberry compote, but now there is! You can hardly tell the difference between the traditional and vegan Tonga Toast. When I went to Kona Cafe with Emma, we taste-tested the two versions. While she did pick out the correct one, being vegan, she said she could tell a very slight difference in the texture.

Strawberry Smoothie
If you are looking for a treat to cool you down in the summer heat, you are going to want to head to Auntie Gravity’s in Tomorrowland. Here, you can find a variety of frozen galactic goodies.

The Strawberry Smoothie here is friendly and suitable for plant-based eaters. Think of this smoothie as a slightly melted strawberry dole whip but in a good way! It has a very rich consistency, which makes people think there is dairy in it, but it is completely dairy-free!

There are little pieces of strawberry seed and real strawberry, and it strikes a nice balance between tasting like it contains ice cream and something made entirely out of real fruit purée like a sorbetto. This is definitely a sweet treat and not a health shake.

Plant-Based Bahn Mi
At the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, there are so many different options for food and drink. I like to stop at the coffee shops around the hotel. At each of the shops, they have a Plant-Based Bahn Mi.

The Bahn Mi starts with a delicious crusty bread that has a food crunch on the outside and is sturdy enough to hold the fillings. The chickpea salad has some really good spice. When Emma tried this with me, she compared it to a chicken salad or egg salad taste. This is topped with fresh cilantro and fresh sliced jalapeño. This whole thing works together in a way that is just irresistible to me.

Honestly, it is one of the things that will randomly come into my brain, and I will suddenly crave it. Although it is a simple thing, it is so unbelievably delicious and addictive.

Hummus Plate
Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT’s Land Pavilion serves up a lot of great options. Emma recommended that I try the Hummus Plate.

It comes with sesame crackers that are so flavorful that they have a fun punch of flavor with the hummus, which is already delicious on its own! I love the sliced fresh cucumber that you can dip in the hummus. This plate also comes with olives, which I like! If you want to try this snack, a tip would be to grab a plastic fork to be able to manage the olives and the hummus at the same time.

Plant-based Cookies ‘n “Cream” Chocolate Mousse Cup
Also, at Sunshine Seasons, you can find the Plant-based Cookies ‘n “Cream” Chocolate Mousse Cup. This dessert is so iconic that I would recommend it to non-vegans. This has been a favorite dessert of mine, going back to when I moved to Florida in 2020. I literally could not believe what I was eating.

In my opinion, it continues to be the best vegan dessert consistently available throughout the year in Disney World. The texture is rich and creamy despite being dairy-free. You can give this moose to anyone, and they would not even know it is vegan. Anyone would like this unless they dislike chocolate because it has a rich, deep chocolate flavor that I am personally obsessed with.

While all five of these are great options for both vegan and non-vegans, the Plant-based Cookies ‘n “Cream” Chocolate Mousse Cup is my favorite vegan snack to get!
