NEWS: Haunted Mansion & Pirates of the Caribbean Changes CONFIRMED for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World

Yes, we know it’s still spring, but it’s never too early to start thinking about Halloween.

That’s especially true for Halloween in Disney World. We expect to see a lot of announcements drop soon about this year’s spooky events, including more details about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. Recently, Disney dropped a hint about some characters returning to that party!

Disney just dropped a new audition notice for “Actors Who are Local to Central Florida for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.” The audition notice calls for “comedic, interactive actors with quick wit and character who can engage Guests of all ages in random moments of the season.”

Specifically, Disney is looking for some very specific characters, including Broome the Butler and Miss Carlotta/Rinatta. These characters usually greet people in front of the Haunted Mansion during the party.

The audition notice also looks for Cactus-Flower Cate, who you can see in Frontierland during the party, as well as two Pirates of the Caribbean characters you’ll see at the event: Friendly Frances/Francis and Ducky.

So, we can surmise that these characters will be returning to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year. We’re sure there are WAY more characters returning this year, but we won’t know for sure until Disney starts posting more audition notices or makes some official announcements. This IS the time of year we start getting Halloween details, so we’re waiting!
