Downtown Disney will be seeing some NEW restaurants soon!

Downtown Disney has been undergoing a massive makeover recently. When all is said and done, we’re going to be seeing some new hangout spots, new places to shop, and some new dining options. We’ve been waiting to try out some of these new spots to grab a bite to eat, and now we have a timeline on when we will be able to swing by some of these NEW restaurants!
We’ve seen closures of some restaurants in Downtown Disney, and while we are sad to see them go — we can’t wait to be able to experience the new ones that are coming to the district.

Three new restaurants we will be seeing SOON are the creations of Mexico’s first Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. These restaurants represent his homeland of Huitzuco, Mexico — and will be presented in different ways throughout three different restaurants.

One of the restaurants, Paseo, will feature an intricate dining room that is meant to celebrate Mexico’s craftsmanship and culture. There is also a patio on the upper level of this restaurant that will allow guests to get some nice aerial views of Downtown Disney. Here, Gatyán will combine his love of Mexico with his French culinary style.

The second restaurant, Céntrico, is a courtyard bar and restaurant. Here, you can expect to find open, airy spaces, and an energetic vibe. They will serve upscale Mexican cuisine, as well as tequila-based cocktails.

Finally, you will be able to experience Tiendita. This is a quick-service restaurant that will serve you street food that is full of Mexican heritage flavors. This is the most casual experience of the three restaurants.

Disney has officially confirmed that guests will be able to experience these restaurants starting in May. They did not announce an exact opening timeline, but we are SO excited to immerse ourselves in the culinary world that Carlos Gaytán has created.

We’re on the lookout for more details about the May opening of these restaurants, so stay tuned to us at AllEars for that information!
