There are two main ways to eat in Disney World — at quick service locations (aka fast food) and table service locations.

Table service locations will always be more expensive than quick-service restaurants because you’re having a sit-down meal with a server dedicated to your table. Other table service locations are buffets, but they’re a character meal, also bumping up that price. But what if you want table-service food on the go? We’re here to tell you that you CAN get table service food to go at certain restaurants with this tip!
Certain table service restaurants in Disney World offer To-Go service, meaning that you can order ahead on the My Disney Experience App, order whatever you’d like on the menu, and then pick it up at the time you indicate.

Some restaurants, like Steakhouse 71, will give you a warning if guests staying at the hotel are the only ones able to pick up orders, but if you don’t get a warning message, then anyone is welcome to order!

After selecting the restaurant and what time you’d like to pick up, you’ll start creating your order!

The app is great about walking you through all the steps, so you’re not confused at any moment. Once you’ve placed your order, arrive at the restaurant at the time you appointed, and let them know you’re there. You’ll still be waiting a little bit for your order, just like you would sitting down, because the food is made to order.

At this time, the restaurants participating in this To-Go Service are:
- Ale & Compass
- Geyser Point Bar & Grill
- Kona Cafe
- Olivia’s Cafe
- Sanaa
- Steakhouse 71
- Trattoria al Forno

This is a great way to eat the food you love without needing to sit down in the restaurant. If you have a way to keep it warm, or you’re staying at the hotel the restaurant is in, you can eat it back at your hotel room after a long day in the parks.
