It takes a lot of hard work to keep the theme parks looking fresh and new no matter what day you step in!

That’s why Disney World will often schedule refurbishments throughout the year on certain attractions. Some attractions undergo major transformations while others are closed seasonally but it’s best to come prepared knowing which rides will be closed during your vacation so you can plan around it. So, let’s take a look at everything that is scheduled to be closed next week between November 1st to 7th!
Magic Kingdom Refurbishments
Walt Disney World Railroad
The train in the Magic Kingdom has not been taking its grand-circle tour around the park for quite some time now. The closure is due to the construction of the new roller coaster, TRON Lightcycle Run, as it is located on the outer edge of Tomorrowland and is interrupting the train’s services.

Currently, construction on TRON: Lightcycle Run does not have an end date and Disney World’s calendar shows that the Walt Disney World Railroad will be closed through at least early 2022.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic
Back in Fantasyland, Mickey’s PhilharMagic has been closed as Disney adds in a brand new scene featuring the characters from Pixar’s Coco. And, the work isn’t done just yet, meaning that the attraction will continue to remain closed through the week.

It is set to reopen for guests on November 11th, guests won’t have to wait too much longer to see the new scene for themselves!

EPCOT Refurbishments
Souk-Al-Magreb
While many closures are continuing into this week, one will actually be ending! The small shop in EPCOT‘s Morocco Pavilion, Souk-Al-Magreb, will reopen on Friday, November 5th, after being closed for the past month.

This shop has sold Moroccan-inspired clothing and accessories in the past, but we’ll keep an eye out for any changes that we may spot when it welcomes guests back!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Refurbishments
Kali River Rapids
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a new closure will be joining the list — Kali River Rapids. This water attraction is scheduled to undergo maintenance from November 1st to mid-December, so we’ll keep an eye out for when a reopening date is announced.

Well, that’s it for everything that will be available next week in Disney World! We’ll be keeping an eye out for any other updates that may impact your stay, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
